If aliens have visited us in history, why is it they demanded to be worshipped as gods? Do they have a god complex? or is it that was the only way humans would accept them? Could it be we have it twisted and the actual aliens didn’t want to be worshipped, but alien hybrids did?
What if we were visited, and the race who helped mankind with technology mated with humans to leave behind their legacy, then they left. The hybrids though were messed up in the head and enslaved humans.
This is all hypothetical, this is not a post about what happened when we don’t have all the facts. My question is, why do aliens get the bad rap of being pious? or are there multiple races, which there probably are, and some of those races like to be worshipped?
I can only think like a lowly Earthling, but I just get why any race would come to play god unless said race is either extremely messed up or it's just a few members of the race that just so happens to have power. And if the aliens were a lot like us, then many of them woul dhave a god complex.
When I think about us making first contact, I do worry some, will the aliens be just like us or will they be better or worse?
We build up so much antisipation and we really have no clue what we're dealing with. Aliens could be a race of spores or they could look similar to us. They could be peaceful or they could be just like us or worse. And they do have a god complex, we probably don't want to meet them.
I can't see why a race of beings would travel here, play god, and then leave. I know there are theories and stories, but in reality,it just doesn't make sense.
I am sure that if this version of alien history is correct that those who were left behind eventually lost their power, and died at the hands of Humans. And if that is true, maybe one day this race could return. Maybe in vengeance or to make things right.
I have seen multiple writings and opinions dedicated to various alien races, all stating they know all about the real aliens. But they don't. Not likely, anyways.
When it comes down to it, we have no idea. And we keep reaching out to make contact when those we shake hands with may or may not like us. They may or may not want to rule us. A part of me wants to find out, but a part of me wants to stay out of it.
We could be like the TV show, The Expanse, and colonize the Solar System, and after many years first contact comes in the form of deadly spores. Even when we stretch out through space, we might have to wait awhile before we can meet any new race. I am a little sad about that, but it might be for our own good.
